I am an independent software architect and technical consultant working with companies that build or modernize complex software platforms.
My strongest fit is in regulated, high-integrity, or business-critical environments where the problem is not simply “deliver more features”. The real issue is often architectural complexity, fragile systems, unclear technical direction, legacy constraints, delivery risk, or a widening gap between business goals and engineering execution.

Over the last 15+ years, I have worked across software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and technical leadership. I have led engineering teams, architected distributed systems, stabilized failing projects, modernized legacy platforms, and helped leadership make technical decisions with long-term consequences.

Background
My background is deeply technical, but my work is not limited to implementation. I care about whether the system is understandable, maintainable, secure, operable, and aligned with the business it exists to support.
